Straight to the point. I like that about you!

The purpose of this site is to provide a better understanding of the elements that go into successfully integrated marketing so you can build beyond your current strategy to further grow your business. I would encourage you to use the list of elements provided and the top-level definitions to compare and build upon your own marketing understanding and/or plans.

There are some planned companion infographics and guides to be used in conjunction with the self-help parts of the site that provide some additional detail. However, this site was originally created for a more experienced Sales and Marketing audience with a minimal budget over a couple days time; so those additional resources are not ready yet. If you are interested, please reach out on Linkedin and tell me to hurry up and finish them.

The art of Marketing is changing all the time, and so is the terminology we use. Please reach out on Linkedin and let me know what you are looking for so I can add it in or update the terminology.

Good question. It really depends on how you would like to showcase your new knowledge.

  • If you want to use in a meeting or in conversation - I would recommend using a free online resource or other websites similar to this one. There are a lot of good webinars put on by marketing service providers that act as a good primer for many of these topics.
  • If you want to use it in a project - I would still start with seeing what free resources are available. If nothing else, it may narrow down what you are interested in so that pursuing a more formal training path or finding a class is easier. Remember, you do not always need formal training or certificates to start to practically apply this knowledge.
  • If you want to add it as a resume skill - Depending on your timetable, you may want to skip straight to a formal training class that will offer you a certificate or some other proof of learning. However, if you can point to an example or project where you have applied this knowledge, that would work just as well (usually better).

I'm afraid I don't have a specific resource list for you. That could constitute a whole other website.
